Please read this information regarding updates and reopening of the Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum
Showcasing rail and forest industrial heritage from Northern Interior BC.
The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum is situated on the ancestral territory of the Lheidli T’enneh Nation. Located in the confluence of the Nechako and Fraser Rivers, we are honored to live, work and play on the beautiful, and vast territory.
We Look forward to seeing you here!
The Central BC Railway and Forestry Museum is home to many locomotives, rolling stock and heritage railway buildings. Most are open to visitors to go into and explore. Many of our pieces were used in rail lines that pass through or are connected to Central BC. These include; the Grand Trunk Pacific Railway, Canadian National Railway, Pacific Great Eastern Railway and BC Rail.
